Pazar Kahvaltısı ve Pembe-Sarı Güllü Sofra

Bu pazar kahvaltıya misafirimiz vardı. Sofraya beyaz bir örtü serip üzerine pembe renkli ikinci bir örtü daha örtüp elimle saat yönünde çevirerek masanın tam ortasında bir gül şekli oluşturdum. Üzerine de sarı renkte bir gül yerleştirdim. Sarı- pembe ve yeşil renk tüm sofraya hakimdi. Yuvarlak peçeteleri supla(kuver) tabakları ve servis tabakları arasına yerleştirdim. Ayrıca pembe büyük peçeteleri de bu yuvarlak peçetelerle kombinleyip peçete halkaları ile tutturdum. Masaya da sofra süsleri serptim. Yumurta ve reçeller bulaşabileceği için çift çatal bıçak kullanmayı uygun gördüm. Büfemin üzerine de beyaz bir örtü serip semaverimizi, yedek tabak ve çatal bıçakları ve fincanları dizdim.

Sunday Breakfast and Pink-Yellow Dining Table With Roses

This Sunday we had guests for breakfast.I spread out a white table cloth and covered it with another pink coloured table cloth by turning the second one with my right hand in the direction of the clock. This movement made a big rose in the middle of the table. Then I settled an instant yellow rose into this cloth rose. Pink, yellow and the green were the dominant colours of the table. I settled round shaped napkins between the couvert plate and service plate. I also combined the round shaped napkins with bigger pink napkins and attached them with a ribbon napkin ring. I sprinkled some ornaments to the table.I thought fit to use double fork and knife because of the contamination of eggs and jams. I spead an another white cover on to my sideboardand I placed my samovar, my backup plates, forks, knives and cups on it.
Our breakfast menu was like this:

Flaky pastry containing thin layers of cheese and minced meat
Sousage with yellow cheese in oven
Menemen( A kind of omlette made with tomatoe, pepper and egg)
Sausage flavored with garlic on the pan
Hellim cheese on the pan(a kind of cookable Cyprus cheese)
Egg with roasted meat
Soft boiled eggs
Plain cake
Tea bread with mahaleb
Lemon flavoured cheesecake
Princess dessert

Beef which is dried in the sun after being treated with spices
Plain sousage
Cream
Honey
A variety of home-made jams
A variety of olives

A variety of cheese
A variety of salami and ham
Tea
Fresh orange juice
